Theme:
Praying for Boldness in everything we do.
When we think of bold prayer, we often imagine confident words or fearless personalities. But Scripture shows us that boldness in prayer doesn’t begin with strength—it begins with dependence on Christ.
In Ephesians 6, Paul invites believers to pray “at all times in the Spirit.” Then, from a place of chains and hardship, he asks for prayer—not for relief, but for courage. He longs to speak the gospel clearly and boldly, even when it costs him something. Paul knew that God was with him, all he had to do was ask boldly for courage.
Praying boldly doesn’t mean we aren’t afraid. It means we bring our fear honestly before God and ask Him for the courage to obey anyway. It is a quiet trust that God is present, that He loves us, and that He will give us what we need for each step of faith.
Prayer:
Lord, teach us to pray with boldness that flows from trust in You in all we do. When we feel weak or hesitant, fill us with Your Spirit and help us speak and live for Christ with Courage. Amen.
