Theme:
Pray that many would experience a new beginning in Jesus this year
We all need patience when we think what we want is a utopian kind of world. It’s our job as Christians to help spread the Gospel but it’s really up to new believers to discover their own faith. I know how hard it is to focus when the world is screaming at you and telling you that you’re wrong, but we have to refocus. It’s a new year and a perfect opportunity to center ourselves in God’s word. Whether that’s through joining a new life group to connect with godly people, setting aside more quiet time, or even downloading an app on your phone that generates daily devotions for you based on how you feel and what you need to focus on. Scripture reminds us not to be like lukewarm Christians but to be fully committed. New Years means new beginnings after all and what better way to start off 2026 than with Jesus?
I’ll answer for you… absolutely nothing is better!
Prayer:
Dear God,
I pray that we as a church remember your voice as we start off 2026. May we not yet be blinded by the worldly pressures and mistakes we’ve made but instead be filled with total peace as we enter this new year strong. May we remember why we are Christians and that God’s timing is perfect in every occasion. And may we all seek out Jesus in the little things in everyday life. Amen!
