Pray for a deeper sense of God’s Hope

Theme:

Pray for a deeper sense of God’s Hope

Devotional:

Having hope regardless of the situation is something that I struggle with quite a bit. It’s not easy, especially when life gets you down! I’ve been in some situations that seem hopeless, and that’s when we need to look to God. Romans 15:13 reminds us that God is the God of hope and He’ll make us overflow with it as we trust Him. No matter how dark the situation is, we can always cling to the hope that is Christ Jesus, the hope that we’ll be with Him for all of eternity.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are willing to share Your hope with us. Help us to constantly be a church of hope and to share that hope with others like You do for us. Amen.

There are so many times I stress over the situation around me. Something I don’t know how to handle or an really concerned at what “might” happenb. But how many times can I look back and see God come through anyway.

God, help me to have the confidence and JOY to walk in faith knowing You are with me.

  3. Thank you for the reminder Gabby! I love your perspective of hope being something that we individually and we as a church can overflow to others! Let’s be that!

    1. Without hope we are desperately searching for the next thing that will “fill”. God knows our situations and we offers HOPE in a life changing relationship with the Father through Jesus. You’re right Gabby He pours out HOPE to us and that changes everything. Our city needs his HOPE.

  4. There have been many times in my life where I have felt stress, stress in my life or our family has dealt with stress. Turning to God and knowing that he is a friend for us to talk to is amazing. The trick is to know that God has his own timing and that he does hear our prayers so patience is important for us.
