Theme:
Pray for more of the Holy Spirit
At times, I notice that I move ahead with my own plans, trusting what feels familiar instead of intentionally inviting the Holy Spirit to lead me. This verse reminds us that God is not hesitant or reluctant to give His Spirit but rather He is eager and generous when we simply ask.
The Holy Spirit is not a distant gift, but a daily presence meant to guide, comfort, and strengthen us. When we invite the Holy Spirit to lead our thoughts, words, and actions, we are reminded that we do not have to walk through life alone. God desires that we live dependent on Him, trusting that His Spirit will provide exactly what we need each day.
Prayer:
Father, we come to You today knowing how much we need You. Please fill us with Your Holy Spirit and help us to rely on Your strength instead of our own. Guide our decisions, shape our hearts, and lead our lives in a way that honors You. We trust that You give good gifts, and we thank You for Your presence with us. Amen.
